A guide to OS Explorer (1:25,000) and Landranger (1:50,000) maps
The Ordnance Survey have now reissued all of their popular Explorer (1:25,000) and Landranger (1:50,000) maps to show the Wales Coast Path.
When purchasing maps, care should be taken to ensure that you have the most recent edition - with the WCP shown - as many outlets still sell older editions until stocks are exhausted. For further details, including information on the Landranger Maps, please see the Ordnance Survey website.
The official and most up to date route of the path is on our interactive map on our website. Any route differences are due to the the delay in updating other mapping sources.
The table below shows, in north to south order, the issue dates of the revised Explorer sheets, the most suitable scale for walking. These show the Wales Coast Path marked with a green diamond.
